PAYMENT HANDSHAKE

Four moves from request to response.

  1. 01POST /api/v1/pdf

    Agent calls the endpoint

    No key, no bearer token. Just the request body you want rendered.

  2. 02402 Payment Required

    We quote the price

    The response carries the accepted scheme, asset, amount and a payment nonce.

  3. 03X-PAYMENT: <signed>

    Wallet signs and retries

    The client signs a USDC authorization and replays the identical request.

  4. 04200 OK + result

    Response plus price

    You get the render and what it cost, in the same round trip.

What that buys you

Failed renders are free

A non-2xx upstream, a timeout, or a crashed tab is never charged. The payment authorization simply goes unused.

No rate-limit tiers

Concurrency is bounded by what you pay for, not by a plan. Burst to parallel renders without a sales call.

REST and MCP

Call the same services over plain HTTP or as MCP tools, so an agent framework can discover them without a wrapper.

Nothing to revoke

There is no long-lived key to leak. Payment authorizations are single-use and scoped to one request.
