Agreement

These terms form a contract between you and COMPANY_LEGAL_NAME (replace before launch) (company number COMPANY_REGISTRATION_NUMBER, registered at REGISTERED_ADDRESS). By calling the API or using the site you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to do so.

The service

AgentNorth provides a hosted headless browser reachable over HTTP: loading pages, executing JavaScript in page context, extracting content, capturing screenshots, rendering PDFs and holding short-lived sessions. Requests are priced per successful response and settled using the x402 payment flow in USDC.

We may change, add or withdraw endpoints. Breaking changes to a stable API version will be announced in advance on the changelog with a migration path.

Acceptable use

You are responsible for what you render and for having the right to render it. You must not use the service to:

• Access systems or content you are not authorised to access, or circumvent authentication, paywalls or access controls.
• Break the terms, robots directives or rate limits of the sites you target, or any applicable law in your jurisdiction or the target's.
• Conduct credential stuffing, brute forcing, vulnerability scanning of third parties, or any denial-of-service activity.
• Collect personal data unlawfully, or process special-category data without a lawful basis.
• Infringe intellectual property, or reproduce third-party content beyond what your own licence or a statutory exception permits.
• Render or distribute unlawful material, including child sexual abuse material, which we report to the appropriate authority.
• Resell raw API access as an undifferentiated proxy service.

Suspension

We may suspend a wallet or block a target immediately where we reasonably believe use is unlawful, abusive, or endangers the service or third parties. Where possible we will tell you why and give you a route to appeal. Suspension does not entitle you to compensation for unrendered requests.

Payment

Prices are quoted per request in the 402 response and are payable in USDC on the network stated in that response. Payment authorisations are single-use and expire. Only successful responses are charged; failed renders leave the authorisation unsettled. Blockchain network fees are yours. Taxes are addressed in the refund policy and in {{TAX_TERMS_REFERENCE}}.

Availability

We aim for high availability but the service is provided without an uptime guarantee unless you hold a separate written service level agreement with us. Planned maintenance and incidents are published on the status page.

Intellectual property

We own the service, the site and our trade marks, including the AgentNorth name and logo. You own your request data and anything you create with the output. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the API in accordance with these terms. Content you render belongs to whoever owns it — we grant you no rights in it.

Warranties and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that a render will succeed, that extraction will be accurate, or that a target site will behave as it did yesterday.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms is capped at the greater of {{LIABILITY_CAP}} (suggested: the amounts you paid us in the preceding three months) and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill.

You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms or applicable law.

Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer rather than a business, you keep all rights you have under the consumer law of your country of residence, and nothing here reduces them. Business-to-business exclusions above apply only where the law permits.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of JURISDICTION, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts — except that a consumer may also bring proceedings in their own country of residence where local law provides for that.
